Sita Russ, PMHNP-BC, helps individuals navigate life’s challenges with a thoughtful and evidence-based approach to psychiatric care. Serving children, teens, adults, and seniors throughout Florida, she offers comprehensive medication management to support those facing a wide range of mental health concerns. Sita understands the deeply personal nature of emotional and behavioral struggles and partners with her patients to develop tailored treatment plans that foster stability, clarity, and resilience. With a special focus on anxiety, ADHD, and depression, Sita works with individuals of all ages, including children and adolescents, to manage symptoms and improve daily functioning. Her clinical expertise includes conditions such as bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, eating disorders, psychosis, OCD, and postpartum anxiety or depression. She integrates interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and parenting support, when appropriate, into her medication management services to ensure a well-rounded and responsive treatment experience. Sita is especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ individuals, children in the adoption and foster care systems, and clients impacted by autism spectrum disorders. She also offers care for people managing complex challenges such as grief, gender identity questions, hoarding, medical conditions with psychological impact, reproductive concerns, and sleep disorders. Outside of her work at LifeStance Health, Sita finds inspiration in her time at home surrounded by plants, home renovation projects, and her two huskies. She enjoys music, cooking, and family beach trips—each a source of grounding and joy that informs her warm, compassionate presence with patients.
