Dr. Beth Gargaro, Psychiatrist
Dr. Beth Gargaro helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults find stability and relief through compassionate, developmentally informed psychiatric medication management. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she serves families across Utah and partners closely with patients to address emotional, behavioral, and medical factors that influence mental health during critical stages of growth. Her clinical focus includes medication management for ADHD, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders such as depression. Triple board-certified in Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Gargaro is attentive to how physical health, neurodevelopment, and environmental stressors intersect with mental health symptoms. She supports patients from early childhood through young adulthood, including children and adolescents navigating school challenges, teens managing identity and emotional regulation, and young adults adjusting to increasing independence. Her work also incorporates parenting skills to strengthen family systems and promote lasting progress. She serves diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, patients with autism spectrum disorders, and those involved in adoption or foster care, and offers additional areas of clinical focus as appropriate. Dr. Gargaro is particularly passionate about caring for individuals who are recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She prioritizes continuity of care during this vulnerable transition, providing careful medication oversight, collaboration with families and care teams, and a steady, supportive approach aimed at preventing relapse and promoting recovery. Outside of practice, Dr. Gargaro enjoys knitting, reading, and spending time with her family.
