Happiness is when we take care of ourselves body, mind, and spirit!

Greetings to you!

My name is LaTonya A. Fakir. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and foster care system. I have over 8000 Professional hours working with individuals, couples and families dealing PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Communication Disorders, RAD, OCD, ADHS, Autism Spectrum, and Bipolar Disorders just to name a few. I use a wholistic approach to therapy by learning from my clients, sharing my experiences, using appropriate interventions and building treatments that are best and will bring change for each of my clients. I strive to create a platform to bring together therapy, dance (movement) and mindfulness, believing that we are our happiest when our bodies, minds, and spirits are in sync working together for the optimum performance. From the time you meet with me for your diagnostic assessment, to articulating goals, to planning interventions and treatment plans…Change is occurring!

My credentials and experience are as follows: I received my Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Graduate School, Master of Arts Degree in Theological Studies from Luther Seminary, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Development from North Park University.
