I’ve had two really great therapists with live stance. Which was a huge relief after having truly awful experiences with psychologists/therapists in Newport News, VA; that I didn’t ever think I’d get over how awful I thought therapy was. I got lucky by randomly choosing LifeStance as a “care in the community” consult through Veterans Affairs (The VA) between other community care options. And secondly I’m really glad the VA even allows “care in the community”; because I know I wouldn’t have been nearly as comfortable, honest, open, had as many breakthroughs. Also my current therapist at life stance, Michele Marostica, has had experience as an Industrial worker, and then later transitioned to therapist. Being from an Industrial background myself, I find that has been surprisingly helpful to share, though it probably shouldn’t have surprised me. Though please no one suddenly make her in High demand for at least a couple years or so; so I can keep seeing her regularly lol. And the previous therapist had, who understandably decided to join her friends practice, and was no longer in a practice that the “Care in the community” consulted with; was also named Michelle. I forget her last name but I can look it up if anyone is interested. My previous life stance therapist also really helped my mood improve quite a bit after several session, and was surprisingly entertaining. My current therapist is, and and I’m sure will continue to help me communicate my needs and concerns to my current and future doctors and specialists with the No. CO. VA.; though I’m still really really awful at it. But slowly improving. Also since the VA helped by offering , my next google map entry would be amending a VA review with and edit and add a star.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about LifeStance, Michele in particular! I have been seeing Michele for about 10 months and she is truly amazing! She is unlike any therapist I’ve ever had. She is open with me, she connects and is in-tune with me, not only that, she truly cares about me! I never knew I could have such a great relationship with my therapist who I can tell cares about me and my well being! Michele has been my lifeline, I am so thankful for her. She has helped me with so much, and is always there for me! I appreciate the way she calls me out and holds me accountable! I look forward to our therapy sessions every week and to continue growing and evolving! Thank you Michele from the bottom of my heart; for supporting me and showing me that life IS worth it and to keep fighting every day! You’re my Angel from up above!🙏🏻

Lifestance has been life changing. Literally. Both my therapist and my med manager are absolute angels. I ALWAYS feel heard, seen, and understood by them. If I don't like an option they present me they always have other options and leave it up to my choice rather than me feeling ordered around as I have in previous places. My therapist not only pays attention to my mental health needs but things about me as well and its amazing to have someone who genuinely cares about me as a client and a person. The option for tele health visits is by far the best cause getting into an office in person is difficult for me. They're consistent and caring and very flexible around your time. I highly recommend Lifestance. Seriously. They're awesome. 10/10 has changed my life.

Counseling is a very personal matter. My counselor is very professional, knowledgeable, and immensely compassionate and understanding of my condition. Assuring my needs are met as we work together through the traumatic events that caused my injury. My counselor has helped me to move on with my life becoming stronger because of what I've endured rather than the helplessness I felt from being a victim and fighting to survive each day. I'm permanently disabled because of what happened to me but I will NOT let it own or define me or allow it to make me lose who I am. Thank you Lifestance

I liked when I got there how calm and peaceful the environment was. I love the therapy dog 🐩 super sweet and her two little babies. I didn’t feel judged, I felt a little awkward but she reassured me this is a safe place and I just left walking out feeling a little bit of a relief 😮‍💨 I have so much I carry everyday and I’m ready for this chapter in my life to just let go Thank you!!

This is my second review of Lifestance Health. I have been with Lifestance Health for 3 1/2 years now. I came in to Lifestance Health with childhood traumas, domestic violence, disordered eating. I’ve been able to find a disordered eating therapist as well as a trauma informed therapist . You can find what you’re looking for it takes time to connect but well worth it. Start that therapy now.
