Jacqueline Chan, Nurse Practitioner
Jacqueline Chan, PMHNP, is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their mental health goals through compassionate and evidence-based care. Serving patients across California, she collaborates with clients to assess their symptoms, concerns, and history, working together to create tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs. Whether providing individual therapy, psychiatric medication management, or intensive outpatient programs, Jacqueline empowers her clients to navigate challenges and build resilience in their daily lives.
Jacqueline specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, recognizing how these conditions can significantly impact an individual’s well-being. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other clinically proven interventions to help clients reframe negative thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. She also has experience supporting individuals with sleep disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder, ensuring that those struggling with complex mental health conditions receive the comprehensive care they deserve.
In addition to her core specialties, Jacqueline is particularly passionate about working with military personnel, veterans, and women facing mental health challenges. She understands the unique psychological stressors that these populations experience and provides a safe and supportive environment for healing. Jacqueline also offers CBT for Insomnia, helping individuals overcome sleep disturbances that can affect their overall mental health. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of clients and provide culturally competent care.
Outside of her professional work, Jacqueline prioritizes her own well-being by maintaining an active lifestyle. She enjoys going to the gym, incorporating both weightlifting and cardio into her routine as a way to recharge mentally and physically. She finds that the discipline of regular exercise enhances her resilience, focus, and overall approach to wellness—values she integrates into her work with clients.
