My hope is for all people to be free of shame and guilt when talking about their struggles with mental health. I have experience in treating a variety of disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and eating disorders. I strive to create a strong therapeutic and collaborative relationship in order to provide the best quality of care. My passions include working with clients with dual diagnoses and helping support them through their journey of recovery from substance abuse. I believe in a comprehensive approach including various treatment modalities such as complementary and alternative medicine, supportive psychotherapy, and pharmacological options in the treatment of mental illness.

I am enthusiastic to apply my experience and compassion with clients as they begin to address their issues that will help them improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that graduated with a Masters Degree in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles. I started my educational career by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA. I have always been fascinated with the interaction between genetics, epigenetics, environment and mental health. Inspired by my interactions with other nurses, I decided to pursue a career in nursing. After which, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from UC Irvine before pursuing my dream of working in psychiatry.
