Malaika Alert, Nurse Practitioner

As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, Malaika focuses on building strong therapeutic partnerships that support long-term mental wellness. She treats adults ages 18 and older, including older adults, and has experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and military members and veterans. Her approach integrates careful medication evaluation with mindfulness-informed strategies to promote emotional regulation, focus, and resilience. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she offers support for a range of other mental health conditions when clinically appropriate.

Malaika is especially committed to helping adults manage complex mood and anxiety-related conditions with clarity and compassion. She understands how conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and bipolar disorder can affect daily functioning, relationships, and overall quality of life, and she strives to provide care that is both clinically precise and genuinely supportive. Her goal is to help patients feel heard, empowered, and confident in their treatment plan.

Outside of her clinical work, Malaika enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and reading as ways to recharge and maintain balance.
