Deborah Spandikow, Nurse Practitioner
I strive to provide compassionate evidence-based care to help you successfully achieve your mental health goals. I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan. I am accepting new patients ages 15 and above. I enjoy working with individuals and families. I incorporate a holistic approach to mental health, including problem-focused psychotherapy, mind-body connection, lifestyle modifications, and medication management. We are all unique individuals, so our best strategy is to individualize care across disciplines, including referrals for in-depth psychotherapy. I have over 20 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and completed my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner training through Johns Hopkins University. I am dual certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My areas of clinical focus include Adolescent Mental Health, Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Women’s Health Issues, Postpartum Depression, and Mood Disorders. I utilize several treatment modalities, including medication management, motivational interviewing, brief problem-focused counseling, and lifestyle modification for optimum brain and mood health. I look forward to working with you.
