John Kaburia, Nurse Practitioner
John Kaburia, PMHNP, helps patients across Delaware achieve greater stability, clarity, and control over their mental health through thoughtful, evidence-based medication management. As a prescriber with LifeStance Health, he works with teens, adults, and seniors, addressing a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. His approach is collaborative and patient-centered, ensuring each treatment plan reflects the individual’s goals, medical history, and daily challenges. John has a strong clinical focus on treating anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and ADHD, while also supporting individuals managing complex conditions like bipolar disorder and sleep disturbances. He integrates medication management with therapeutic principles, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and CBT for Insomnia, to promote long-term symptom relief and improved functioning. He also provides medication management for substance use concerns, including alcohol and drug use issues, helping patients navigate recovery with medical support. He is particularly committed to working with individuals from diverse and often underserved populations, including those with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, military service backgrounds, and first responders. John strives to create a respectful, culturally responsive environment where patients feel heard and supported throughout their care journey. Outside of his clinical work, John enjoys traveling, listening to music, staying active through exercise, and spending meaningful time with his family.
