Lucy Chalas, Nurse Practitioner

Lucy Chalas, APRN, helps patients and families find stability, clarity, and relief through thoughtful psychiatric medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions. Practicing with LifeStance Health in Florida, she provides care for children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, creating individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s symptoms, medical history, and life circumstances. Her approach blends compassionate listening with evidence-based prescribing to support long-term mental wellness across the lifespan. A core focus of Lucy’s work is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She is deeply committed to helping patients navigate this critical transition period by ensuring continuity of care, stabilizing medications, and reducing the risk of relapse or rehospitalization. Lucy collaborates closely with patients, families, and other providers to promote safety, build confidence, and reestablish daily functioning after inpatient psychiatric treatment. Lucy specializes in treating ADHD, anxiety disorders, and depression, while also addressing complex presentations that may include additional mental health conditions. She offers psychiatric medication management for patients involved in adoption or foster care, individuals on the autism spectrum, and military members or veterans, and she provides care for additional populations as well. Her services include medication management and medication-assisted treatment for substance-related concerns when clinically appropriate. Sessions may be conducted in English, Creole, or Haitian Creole to better meet patients’ communication needs. Outside of clinical practice, Lucy enjoys spending quality time with her family, visiting amusement parks, relaxing at the beach, and traveling. She continues to serve patients throughout Florida through LifeStance Health, offering accessible, patient-centered psychiatric care focused on lasting stability and improved quality of life.
