Shannon Hummel, Nurse Practitioner
Shannon Hummel is a board certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She offers comprehensive care for depression and manages anxiety without the use of benzodiazepines. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient centered care with an emphasis on education, nutrition, exercise, and self-care in the assessment of all factors influencing mood.
Shannon graduated from Brenau University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and traveling.
