Dorthea Rogers provides compassionate and comprehensive psychiatric care for patients across Georgia. She offers medication management for children, teens, adults, supporting individuals through every stage of life. Dorthea creates personalized treatment plans designed to address a wide range of mental health needs, from childhood behavior issues to complex mood and anxiety disorders, always with the goal of helping patients achieve stability and improve their quality of life. Her expertise includes the treatment of depression, and anxiety, as well as mood disorders such as bipolar disorder. Dorthea also provides care for individuals navigating PTSD and trauma, substance use concerns, and sleep disorders. She recognizes the challenges that can accompany conditions like OCD, grief, and postpartum depression/anxiety, and works with patients to find effective, evidence-based strategies for relief and healing. She is especially passionate about supporting patients with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Dorthea values creating a safe and affirming environment where patients feel understood and respected, ensuring treatment is individualized and responsive to each person’s needs. Her work with first responders, military service members, and veterans also reflects her dedication to populations who often face unique stressors and mental health challenges. Outside of her role at LifeStance Health, Dorthea enjoys playing video games, watching football, and traveling with her family. These personal passions bring balance and connection to her life, and she carries this same sense of understanding and authenticity into her work with patients.
