Gebreyesus Hidad, PMHNP-BC provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families across Illinois through LifeStance Health. He supports children, teens, and adults through a variety of life stages and challenges, offering both therapeutic and psychiatric services including individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and medication management. With a clinical approach grounded in empathy and whole-person care, Gebreyesus helps patients navigate conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. His services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, whether they are managing ongoing mental health conditions or facing new emotional difficulties. Gebreyesus is especially passionate about treating grief, substance abuse, and trauma through a comprehensive and person-centered lens. His approach integrates psychoeducation and trauma-informed care with support for healthy lifestyle choices such as nutrition, exercise, and sleep. He believes in empowering individuals to better understand their symptoms, build coping skills, and reclaim a sense of balance.
