Arvin Lu, Nurse Practitioner

Arvin Lu, PMHNP-BC, helps adults across Illinois manage their mental health with compassion and evidence-based care. He provides medication management for conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, tailoring treatment to support each patient’s unique needs and goals. By combining clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach, he creates treatment plans that promote stability, recovery, and long-term wellness for individuals navigating life’s challenges. One of Arvin’s greatest passions is supporting patients who have recently been discharged from psychiatric hospitals. He understands that the transition from inpatient to outpatient care can be overwhelming, and he focuses on building continuity of care that fosters stability, reduces relapse risk, and helps individuals regain confidence in daily life. His work is guided by the belief that recovery is a process best supported by consistent care, empathy, and collaboration. In his practice, Arvin offers targeted care for individuals coping with complex mental health concerns. His clinical focus includes mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions including PTSD, and sleep disorders that interfere with quality of life. He also has experience treating patients with medical conditions that intersect with mental health, recognizing the importance of holistic care. Outside of his clinical work, Arvin enjoys traveling, daily walks, watching boxing and FIBA basketball, exploring new topics on YouTube, and practicing his faith through church and daily prayers.
