Amy Snowden is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who has been practicing since 2019. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a focus in psychiatry. Amy’s clinical career includes over 20 years of experience as a RN at inpatient hospitals, community mental health centers, and school-based settings. She enjoys working with children and adolescents and is certified to diagnose and treat all ages across the lifespan.

Amy believes in providing compassionate, holistic and evidence-based care. She believes in building a relationship with her patients and empowering them to take an active role in making informed decisions about their plan of care.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, hiking, travelling, and spending time with her children. She is also a strong advocate for empowering and mentoring student nurses.
