Tamela Pratt, Nurse Practitioner
Tamela Pratt helps patients regain stability, clarity, and confidence through thoughtful psychiatric medication management as a prescriber at LifeStance Health serving patients across Maryland. She provides evidence-based care for teens, adults, and older adults navigating complex mental health concerns, working collaboratively with patients and, when appropriate, their families to create treatment plans that support both symptom relief and long-term wellbeing. She specializes in medication management for ADHD, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder, with experience supporting adolescents and teens as well as adults and seniors. Tamela treats teens ages 11 to 17, young adults, adults, and older adults, adjusting care to meet developmental, medical, and lifestyle considerations at each stage of life. Her clinical approach emphasizes careful assessment, ongoing monitoring, and clear communication so patients feel informed and supported throughout treatment. She also works with select populations including military members and veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and offers additional areas of clinical focus. In her practice, Tamela incorporates mindfulness-informed strategies alongside medication management and provides medical procedure evaluations when indicated. She values a balanced, compassionate approach that considers both mental and physical health. Outside of clinical work, Tamela enjoys reading, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and finding meaningful ways to help others, interests that reinforce her warm, patient-centered style of care.
