Raji George, Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Raji George is an advanced practice registered nurse. She has been an instructor at Oakland University school of Nursing since 2019. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her training at Rajiv Gandhi University, India, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001. She graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with Family practice focus from Wayne State University in 2018 and received a Post Master’s certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Saginaw Valley State in University in 2021. For over 20 years, Dr. George has cared for pediatric and adult patients in a variety of settings, including in-patient hospitals, community settings, and out-patient practices. As both a clinical practitioner and instructor, she has gained extensive experience delivering primary care and mental health services to patients and educating nursing students in classroom and clinical settings.
