Iza Michalik, Nurse Practitioner
Izabella Michalik, PMHNP, is a dedicated provider at LifeStance Health, helping children, teens, and adults across Michigan find balance and healing through compassionate, evidence-based care. She provides both individual therapy and medication management, with a focus on supporting patients through a wide range of mental health challenges. Izabella works with individuals ages 6 and up, including adolescents and seniors, and brings a calm, focused approach to addressing even the most complex emotional and behavioral concerns. Izabella is particularly passionate about working with individuals navigating the impacts of trauma, mood disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions. She specializes in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her clinical style is grounded in mindfulness and trauma-informed care, enabling her to support patients with compassion and clarity as they work to regulate emotions, manage symptoms, and build resilience. Izabella also incorporates parenting skills strategies when working with families to support children and adolescents with behavioral issues or developmental challenges. In addition to her clinical expertise, Izabella has a deep commitment to serving marginalized and underserved populations. She works with individuals from the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and those with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities. Her inclusive approach helps patients feel understood and safe, regardless of background or identity. She draws on her years in emergency medicine to remain composed and effective in moments of crisis and offers a unique blend of clinical skill and emotional presence to those facing life’s most difficult transitions. Outside of her work, Izabella finds joy in gardening, reading, and traveling. These interests help her stay grounded and foster a holistic view of wellness that she brings into her clinical practice. Fluent in Polish, she is also able to offer care to Polish-speaking patients in Michigan who may feel more comfortable receiving support in their native language.
