Patricia Chandler, Nurse Practitioner
Patricia Chandler, PMHNP, helps individuals across Michigan stabilize their mental health, regain clarity, and move forward with confidence. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she supports children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors through compassionate medication management tailored to each stage of life. Patricia works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions, and she integrates evidence-based strategies to promote lasting well-being.
Patricia is particularly dedicated to supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands the vulnerability, uncertainty, and critical need for continuity of care during this transition. Patricia collaborates closely with patients to maintain stability, adjust medications as needed, and build a sustainable path toward recovery. Her approach emphasizes safety, trust, and restoring confidence in daily functioning.
Her clinical work also includes treating ADHD, PTSD/trauma, and medical-related mental health concerns, and she brings additional expertise supporting diverse populations such as individuals with autism spectrum disorders, adoption and foster care backgrounds, developmental disabilities, first responders, and military/veteran communities. Patricia offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-informed strategies, and faith-based treatment, with additional interventions available based on patient needs.
Within Patricia’s practice she ensures to bring a thoughtful and steady presence to every patient interaction. She prioritizes building relationships that respect each person’s values, goals, and lived experiences while providing clear, informed guidance on managing symptoms and improving daily life.
Outside of her professional work, Patricia enjoys spending time with her large extended family and grandchildren, nurturing the close bonds that ground her. Living on a lake in Michigan allows her to unwind through boating, swimming, fishing, and gardening. She also loves traveling and has participated in medical mission trips to Ghana, Haiti, Tanzania, and communities across the United States, helping set up free clinics alongside physician-led teams.
