Cody Shipley, Nurse Practitioner

Cody Shipley, PMHNP, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors across Michigan achieve greater stability and improved mental health through thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a Nurse Practitioner with LifeStance Health, he provides medication management and substance use treatment, partnering closely with patients to address conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression while promoting long-term wellness. His approach is collaborative and patient-centered, ensuring each individual receives care tailored to their unique needs and goals. Cody specializes in treating a wide range of mental health concerns across the lifespan, including ADHD, bipolar disorder, and alcohol and drug use issues, while also offering support for additional conditions. He integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques alongside medication management to help patients build coping skills and improve daily functioning. He has experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with autism spectrum disorders, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military/veterans, and provides additional services to meet complex clinical needs.
