Guillermo Ethier, Nurse Practitioner

As a psychiatric prescriber, Guillermo specializes in medication management for ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, while also treating alcohol and drug use issues through evidence-based medication approaches. He works with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral or emotional concerns, as well as adults facing midlife and later-life transitions. Guillermo integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–informed principles, mindfulness strategies, and collaborative decision-making into his care, and offers additional areas of focus to meet diverse mental health needs. He also serves select populations including individuals on the autism spectrum, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military veterans.

Guillermo is particularly passionate about supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He understands that this transition can feel overwhelming and vulnerable, and he prioritizes continuity of care, medication stabilization, and relapse prevention during this critical period. By providing close follow-up, clear education, and coordinated outpatient treatment, he helps patients regain a sense of safety, rebuild routines, and reduce the risk of rehospitalization.

In addition to his clinical work, Guillermo values creativity and curiosity, spending his free time painting, building with Lego, and reading. These interests reflect his belief in balance, self-expression, and lifelong learning—principles he encourages in his patients as part of holistic mental health care.
