Lisa Kotula, Nurse Practitioner
Lisa Kotula, PMHNP, provides compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to individuals and families across Michigan. She supports children, teens, and adults through every stage of life by offering thoughtful medication management services tailored to each person’s unique needs. Whether a patient is navigating childhood challenges, adolescent transitions, or adult mental health concerns, Lisa takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to treatment designed to promote long-term wellness and emotional resilience. Lisa specializes in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder—conditions that can deeply affect everyday functioning and relationships. She works closely with each patient to understand their symptoms and goals, building a care plan that supports both immediate relief and sustainable growth. Her experience working with pediatric and adult populations allows her to recognize the developmental nuances of mental health and customize care across all age ranges, from young children to older adults. Lisa is especially passionate about supporting those struggling with sleep disorders, postpartum depression and anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. These conditions are often underdiagnosed and misunderstood, yet they can significantly disrupt an individual’s well-being. Lisa provides a calm, nonjudgmental environment where patients can speak openly about their experiences and receive targeted interventions that bring relief and restore a sense of balance. Her goal is to help people regain control over their mental health and rediscover meaning in their daily lives. Lisa has completed her advanced training in psychiatric mental health at Walden University and Eastern Michigan University. In addition to her clinical work, she is deeply committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and creating accessible pathways to care for diverse communities. Outside of her professional life, Lisa enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends. These personal passions inform her belief in the importance of connection, community, and holistic well-being. She brings this perspective into her practice to create a space where every patient feels seen, heard, and supported.
