Babatunde Adams, PMHNP-BC provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to individuals across Minnesota. He offers a supportive space for patients to understand and manage their mental health with confidence.
He earned his doctor of Nursing practice from the University of Minnesota in 2016 and completed a post- master’s certificate in Psychiatry Mental Health across the lifespan from the university of Cincinnati in 2023.
At LifeStance Health, Babatunde partners with patients to create personalized treatment plans that foster healing, resilience, and improved daily functioning. He integrates medication management with person-centered care, addressing both acute and chronic mental health concerns.
Babatunde emphasizes whole-person wellness, considering how physical, emotional, cultural and environmental factors influence mental health. He is especially passionate about culturally responsive care and improving access for underrepresented communities. Fluent in English and Yoruba, he values the role of cultural identity and lived experience in recovery.
His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, ADHD, psychosis, trauma-related disorders, co-occurring conditions, and suicide prevention. Known for his warm, respectful approach, Babatunde helps patients feel seen, supported and empowered in their journey toward wellness.
Outside of practice, he enjoys time with family, church fellowship, ping pong, cooking, travelling, reading, and soccer-activities that keep him balanced and connected to his community.
