Mackenzie Moe, Nurse Practitioner
Mackenzie Moe, APN, helps children, teens, and adults across Minnesota manage emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges with a compassionate and evidence-informed approach. At LifeStance Health, she offers medication management services that support patients through a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Mackenzie partners with individuals and families to explore treatment options that honor each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals. Serving children as young as age six through young adults in their 30s, Mackenzie is particularly attuned to the mental health needs of developing minds. She brings a thoughtful and nurturing presence to her work with children and adolescents facing school avoidance, ADHD, mood instability, and behavioral struggles. For teens navigating complex emotional or social transitions, Mackenzie helps them better understand their internal experiences and offers tailored medication strategies to support emotional regulation and functioning. Mackenzie is especially passionate about working with patients who have ADHD, trauma histories, and challenges with anger, aggression, or mood lability. These overlapping concerns often reflect deeper emotional wounds and unmet needs, particularly in children and adolescents. She creates a safe, respectful space for patients to express themselves, while using clinical insight to evaluate how medication can complement broader healing goals. Whether helping a child gain emotional stability or supporting a teen through behavioral outbursts and trauma recovery, Mackenzie approaches care with patience, empathy, and clinical precision. In her work, Mackenzie also understands the layered experiences of individuals from adoptive or foster care backgrounds and those on the autism spectrum. She draws from her experience with these populations to deliver nuanced and individualized care that respects both neurodiversity and the complexity of early relational experiences. While her primary role is prescribing, she collaborates closely with therapists, families, and schools to ensure holistic support for her patients. Outside of her clinical work, Mackenzie finds joy in baking sourdough bread, being near or on the water, and spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys staying grounded through daily walks, which reflect her appreciation for balance and connection—values she brings into every patient encounter.
