Edward George, Nurse Practitioner
Edward George, PMHNP, helps adolescents, teens, and adults across Minnesota find relief from challenging mental health conditions through compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, he provides comprehensive medication management and thoughtful psychiatric evaluations tailored to each individual’s needs. Edward specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, while also supporting patients with a broad range of additional mental health concerns. Edward’s approach is collaborative, structured, and grounded in respect. He integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques into care when appropriate, helping patients build practical skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and improved daily functioning. He works with teens, adults, and seniors, offering care that adapts to each stage of life and promotes long-term stability and wellness. He is experienced in supporting diverse populations, including individuals with autism spectrum disorders, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military veterans. Edward is committed to creating an inclusive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment journey. In addition to his core specialties, he offers support for a wide variety of mental health conditions and life challenges. Edward brings a modern, patient-centered perspective to psychiatric care. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys walking and running, playing soccer during the summer months, listening to music, and spending quality time with his family.
