Nargiza Akyol, Nurse Practitioner
Nargiza Akyol, PMHNP, is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, whole-person care for individuals across the lifespan in Minnesota. With training in both family medicine and psychiatry, she is able to see the full picture of each patient’s health—addressing mental, physical, and emotional well-being together.
Nargiza is committed to supporting patients dealing with anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, empowering them to regain control of their mental health and lead fulfilling lives. She also provides care for those navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and postpartum depression/anxiety, ensuring comprehensive support for a wide range of mental health concerns. Passionate about trauma-informed, respectful, and holistic care, she focuses on creating a safe and collaborative space where patients feel heard, understood, and supported.
Her practice is inclusive and welcoming to diverse communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, veterans, and families experiencing adoption, foster care, or reproductive and hormonal transitions. Multilingual in Russian, Turkish, and Uzbek, Nargiza is able to connect across cultures and provide care that is both accessible and culturally sensitive.
Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, and exploring new cultures through food and literature. At the heart of her practice is a simple belief: every patient deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and hope.
