Cymande Baxter-Rogers is a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of clinical experience. She earned her graduate degree and post graduate certification at the MGH Institute of Health Professions and Florida State University, and has pursued further education and training through the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), the University of Vermont (UVM), the American Philosophical Practitioners Association, the Center for Deep Listening and the Existential Humanist Institute, where she is currently engaged in training to become an existential therapist.
Her clinical approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychopharmacology, integrating a deep understanding of physical, psychological, relational, and developmental factors with thoughtful, evidence and experience-based medication management. She collaborates closely with patients to ensure that medications are used judiciously and in alignment with each individual’s values, life context, and mutually developed therapeutic goals.
Cymande provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults, with an emphasis on reflective, person-centered care that honors the complexity of human experience and supports clients in discovering their capacity for responsibility, agency, and growth.
