Leslie Frybarger, PMHNP, provides compassionate, evidence-based medication management and support for children, teens, and adults across Ohio through LifeStance Health. She helps patients navigate mental health challenges, build stability, and regain control over their daily lives. Serving individuals and families throughout Ohio, Leslie brings both clinical expertise and personal insight to her work, creating a safe space for patients to address complex emotional and behavioral concerns.

Leslie specializes in ADHD, PTSD, and OCD, while also supporting patients experiencing substance use issues, anxiety, depression, and childhood behavior concerns. She works with children (ages 6–10), adolescents, young adults, and adults, tailoring her approach to the unique needs of each age group. Leslie integrates evidence-based strategies and clinical judgment from her experience in inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, and children’s trauma treatment residential programs to ensure each patient receives personalized, effective care. She offers additional support for patients navigating gender identity concerns, eating disorders, hoarding behaviors, and midlife transitions.

She is particularly passionate about helping patients recovering from substance use, trauma, and complex stress, including those recently discharged from psychiatric hospitalization. Leslie’s work emphasizes collaboration, stabilization, and long-term wellness, with special attention to First Responders, Military/Veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, men, and women. Her approach balances clinical precision with empathy, helping patients regain a sense of safety, clarity, and empowerment in their lives.

Leslie earned her bachelor’s in psychology from Ohio State University, a bachelor’s in nursing from Ashland University, and a master’s in nursing from the University of Akron. Outside of work, she enjoys running a small permanent jewelry business, celebrating Halloween and all things spooky, supporting the Buckeyes with her husband, and spending time with their two golden retrievers, Hocus Pocus and Brutus.
