Jennifer Eckhardt is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, board certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in nursing at Wright State University. Prior to receiving her PMHNP, she has over 18 years of experience as a nurse working in addiction in pregnancy, inpatient behavioral health, and labor and delivery. While working as a nurse in addiction, she felt the need to further her education about mental health disorders in order to make an impact within this community. She believes that psychotherapy is an important piece in holistic care of managing a client as well as medication when indicated. One of Jennifer’s main goals is to build therapeutic relationships with her clients.

The PA I saw Jennifer Eckhart was very compassionate and kind. She gives very wise advice. She genuinely listened to me and was good with explaining my medications and any changes she made. She also was very quick in responding to me on the patient portal and helping with my issue. She is great with helping to set real life goals which I really appreciate.
