Kris Gricus, Nurse Practitioner
Kris Gricus helps teens and adults find clarity, balance, and relief from mental health symptoms through thoughtful, collaborative psychiatric care. Serving patients across Rhode Island, she provides medication management at LifeStance Health with an approach that is patient-centered, affirming, and grounded in current psychiatric best practices. She partners closely with individuals to develop treatment plans that respect each person’s lived experience, goals, and overall health. Kris is especially passionate about perinatal and reproductive psychiatry, supporting individuals through post-partum depression and anxiety, reproductive challenges, and other mental health concerns related to pregnancy, fertility, and hormonal transitions. She understands how profoundly these experiences can affect emotional well-being and works to reduce stigma while providing evidence-based psychiatric care during these vulnerable and transformative life stages. Her clinical specialties include ADHD, anxiety, and depression, with additional experience in trauma-related conditions and midlife transitions. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Kris provides medication management for teens and adults, carefully evaluating symptoms, treatment history, and medical factors to ensure safe and effective care. She has experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and first responders, and offers additional areas of focus to meet the complex needs of her patients. Kris brings a deeply human perspective to her work, informed by her curiosity and respect for each person’s story. Outside of practice, she enjoys music of all kinds, spending time with animals, knitting, tending to plants, exploring street art, collecting interesting rocks, and being in or near the ocean whenever possible.
