See what our patients are saying about Mary Grace Finker

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mary Finker for the past 4 months, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience with her. From the very first appointment, she made me feel comfortable, supported, and truly heard. She takes her time during sessions, asks thoughtful questions, and really listens to what I’m saying not just about symptoms, but about my life as a whole. What sets Dr. Finker apart is how intentional and collaborative she is with treatment. She doesn’t just prescribe and move on. She explains everything in a way that makes sense, checks in regularly, and is open to adjusting the plan if something isn’t quite right. I’ve felt more confident and stable under her care, and for the first time in a while, I feel like I’m actually making real progress!

Dr. Mary Finkler at LifeStance Health truly delivers life-changing care. As a 911 dispatcher, I show up for high-pressure situations every day—but when I walked into her office, I was finally heard, understood, and treated with real empathy. From the moment I connected with her, she listened without judgement, validated my experience, and helped me map out a clear path forward—including treatment options, emotional regulation strategies, and insights I hadn’t found elsewhere. This isn’t therapy—it’s being equipped to thrive. She’s sharp, compassionate, and makes complex things feel manageable. If you want a provider who doesn’t just check boxes, but actually partners with you to take control of your mental health, she’s it.

I had my first visit Mary Finker, and she was so kind, and understanding! I was about 15 minutes late for my appointment due to issues at home. I fully expected to be rescheduled and that didn't happen. I apologized to her for my lateness and she understood! I don't meet very many nurses or physicians that have her personality. She actually listened to me! When I called Lifestance and set up an appointment I am so happy that they chose her as my therapist. If you are having any type of issues I do recommend her highly!! I Thank My Heavenly Father above for beautiful hearted nurses, as there are so very few. I have always thought being a nurse in any field or a Physician is a calling and not just a career. She has the calling!!

Dr. Mary is a G-d send!!! She is the very first doctor to get my anxiety under control on her very first attempt! I have Major social anxiety, general anxiety and PTSD. She had me try Propranolol, which was the first time I've ever heard of it in all my years of battling my anxiety. Since 1987, I can actually rate my anxiety, which is normally a 10+, at a 4. I NEVER thought I'd ever get my anxiety under control. Miracles do happen 😁
