Kelsey Crider, Nurse Practitioner
Kelsey Crider, APRN-CNP, provides comprehensive psychiatric medication management for teens, adults, and seniors across Texas through LifeStance Health. She partners with patients to reduce symptoms, restore stability, and improve daily functioning using evidence-based treatment for ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and co-occurring substance use concerns. Serving communities throughout TX, she delivers individualized mental health care designed to support both short-term symptom relief and long-term wellness. Her clinical focus includes medication management for ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions, as well as support for alcohol and drug use issues. Kelsey integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles and mindfulness techniques into medication visits when appropriate, helping patients strengthen coping skills alongside pharmacologic treatment. She works with teens and adults navigating complex presentations and offers additional support for a range of psychiatric conditions. Kelsey is particularly dedicated to caring for individuals recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She understands that this transition requires close monitoring, medication adjustments, and structured follow-up to prevent relapse and promote recovery. She also has experience providing psychiatric care in court-ordered treatment settings and completing disability paperwork, ensuring thorough documentation and coordinated care during critical periods of need. Her experience includes working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, military service members and veterans, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. She approaches each patient with respect, clinical precision, and a commitment to collaborative decision-making in psychiatric treatment. Since beginning her practice in 2021, Kelsey has focused on delivering accessible, patient-centered mental health services. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, reading, walking, and socializing, though most of her free time is spent with her family.
