Jung Hong, Nurse Practitioner

Jung Hong, APRN-CNP, supports individuals across Texas by offering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to each person’s unique background and life experiences. She provides medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions, helping teens, adults, and seniors navigate complex emotional challenges with clarity and confidence. Jung fosters a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and believes in working collaboratively with her patients to improve mental health and quality of life. Jung is particularly passionate about delivering culturally responsive care for immigrant families. Her approach is grounded in deep respect for cultural identity, values, and traditions, helping individuals who may feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional mental health settings. Whether addressing intergenerational conflict, identity development, or the stress of navigating life in a new country, she brings sensitivity and insight that empowers patients to feel seen and supported. She specializes in treating alcohol and substance use disorders, depression, and PTSD/trauma. With expertise in faith-based treatment, Christian counseling, and mindfulness, Jung integrates spiritual and emotional wellness when it aligns with her patients’ values. She has experience supporting individuals with a variety of needs, including those with developmental disabilities, adoption/foster care backgrounds, military experience, and autism spectrum disorders. Additional areas of focus include bipolar disorder, postpartum mental health, and sleep concerns. Outside of her clinical work, Jung enjoys exploring local foodie spots and discovering new cuisines—a hobby that fuels her creativity and connection to diverse communities. She is fluent in Korean and Filipino, allowing her to communicate with patients in their preferred language and further tailor care to their needs.
