Aju Alex has experience in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, alcohol disorder, and sleep disorders. She has her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University and is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Prior to working as a PMHNP she worked as an RN at in-patient psychiatric units in Kansas and Georgia, catering to the needs of children, adolescents, and adults. She was motivated to further her career as a PMHNP after seeing the struggles and trauma that caused patients to be hospitalized/homeless. She firmly believes that God has a purpose for everyone’s life.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master in Business Administration from India. She believes everyone is unique and develops a treatment plan that includes psychotherapy and psychopharmacology to suit their needs. Aju uses active listening and supportive psychotherapy to connect with the individual with the intention of starting the healing process. Her hobbies include spending time with family, cooking, travelling, and playing board games with friends. She speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu.

I will first say that my 5 stars are for my psychiatrist and my therapist. They are amazing!!! They are empathetic and truly make me feel like they care for your well being. I love that a lot of medicine is not being forced on me , just Solutions. Now for the other part, my payments aren’t not being deducted and then given a nice nasty attitude about it. My thing is, if a person is battling depression with anxiety there will be missed appointments. This is mental health and it seems that it’s only about the money. Going through things in life is tough and a lot of us have thoughts rolling 24/7 and it’s hard to keep things straight. To take advantage of a confused mine by finding ways to make money says their only there for money and not the empathy that a mental health person need, it only adds to the problem and then to say that your not paying the fees is another level. So is the practice open for money or to help mentally ill people is my question. I am really Considering finding another program.

I was hesitant to leave this review for privacy reasons but let's face it...we ALL need someone with a head on their shoulders that can lift us out to talk to. ALL of us do. My life's stress has been significantly better since working with LifeStance. Unlike other online therapy, they actually know their stuff. It's more than just a check to them. They truly care. We can't always talk to friends and family and we all need someone even if it's to do elaborate thinking on our end...even if they just listen. I encourage anyone who could use relief to utilize this service. I back it 💯 and I never do that. You're not alone. You don't have to be. You matter enough to do this for yourself. My words to you. I haven’t made a psychiatrist appointment because just getting my kids in to see one years ago would take months. Then if it wasn’t a fit, u have to wait even longer to get help. I have seen my doctor every two weeks for a few months. She is watching everything and checking on me with new meds. She also was early to my appointment today the past few appointments Today she was 15 mins early! She’s listened and immediately sent in prescriptions and doesn’t have me re-tell her what I have already filled out in paperwork and told her before. She’s listened was familiar with my chart and I felt relieved about that to say the least! Thank u!

I was worried about talking to someone about my issues or feelings. Being a 20 year veteran, I felt that I'd be seen as weak. Well, that was the old school thought process and can't be further from the truth. I'm in a better mood and a better place mentally and that's because of Aju Alex. I had my first video session with Dr Alex yesterday and was very impressed. My problems are a life long struggle. The thing that impressed me the most was the fact that she Listened to me. I am very aware of the situation and know myself very well. She accepted what I told her and was still able to offer me solutions to my current situation.
