Bret Stoll, Nurse Practitioner
Bret Stoll is a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing medication management and psychiatric support to children, teens, and adults across Utah through LifeStance Health. With a compassionate, collaborative approach, Bret helps individuals gain clarity, find relief from distressing symptoms, and regain a sense of stability and purpose. He partners with clients to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that integrate both physical and emotional well-being. Bret is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating the complexities of ADHD, substance use, and PTSD/trauma. Drawing on deep clinical experience and trauma-informed care, he helps patients build resilience and achieve recovery through effective, compassionate interventions. He is also skilled in managing co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, offering integrated care to support the whole person. Whether someone is facing anxiety, mood instability, or the long-term effects of trauma, Bret works to restore hope and improve functioning at every stage of life. Bret works with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and members of the military or veteran communities. He offers specialized treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapies including CBT for Insomnia and DBT. His approach is rooted in holistic, patient-centered care, addressing both mind and body to support sustainable wellness. Additional support is available for sleep disorders, mood-related challenges, and later life transitions. Outside of his clinical work, Bret enjoys every season outdoors with his wife—skiing and snowshoeing in winter, and fly fishing, mountain biking, paddleboarding, and gardening in warmer months. Based in Utah, he brings both clinical expertise and a grounded, personal approach to psychiatric care.
