Michelle K Beahm, Nurse Practitioner

Michelle is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and attended Purdue University for her master’s degree. She is also a certified lifestyle coach under Dr. Mindy Pelz. Her previous experience includes 17 years as a nurse in a variety of settings; most recently in the ICU during the COVID-19 pandemic. She enjoys working with adults to address their anxiety, depression, and/or trauma; as well as women’s health concerns such as menopause and hormonal imbalances. Michelle takes a personalized approach by combining both conventional and holistic methods to treat the whole person. The mind and body are connected, and treatment will reflect that. She has training in medication management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, resulting in a client-centered counseling path.
