Kelsey Stevens, Psychiatrist
Kelsey Stevens is both an adult and a child/adolescent trained psychiatrist, who has been practicing since 2022. She graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelors in Psychology and Chemistry then attended AUC School of Medicine obtaining her medical degree. She completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency at VCU Health Systems in Richmond, Virginia and then completed her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego.
Kelsey believes in an approach that utilizes her strong foundation in child development and then takes the time to understand the unique nature of the child, appreciating their strengths and identifying the areas that have lead to their distress, in order to help them overcome this challenging time. By utilizing a team approach, engaging both the child and the family, and implementing therapeutic and/or pharmacological intervention, she strives to help your child in becoming the best version of themselves. Her main areas of focus include anxiety, depression and attention deficit disorder.
In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with family, traveling and photography.
