Laura Eleanor Worthen, Psychiatrist

Dr. Worthen is especially passionate about supporting children and adolescents with ADHD and childhood behavioral issues. She understands the impact these challenges can have on academic performance, family dynamics, and self-esteem. Her approach emphasizes developmentally appropriate care that empowers young people and their caregivers with the tools and insights needed for long-term success. She also has extensive experience treating individuals experiencing psychosis, PTSD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, helping patients build stability through consistent, informed psychiatric support.

In addition to her core specialties, Dr. Worthen offers inclusive and affirming care for individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, those with adoption or foster care backgrounds, and others navigating complex identity or relational issues. She is committed to creating a welcoming space where each person can explore their mental health without fear of judgment or stigma.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Worthen enjoys crocheting, playing and watching rugby, hiking, swimming, and discovering new restaurants. These interests reflect her vibrant personality and her belief in balance, creativity, and community—values she brings into her work with patients.
