Xiu Lowe, Psychiatrist
Dr. Xiu Lowe, MD, helps adults and seniors across California achieve greater stability and quality of life through thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care. Practicing at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management and substance use–related medication services for patients throughout California who are living with complex mental health concerns. Her approach blends careful evaluation with ongoing collaboration, ensuring treatment plans support both symptom relief and long-term functioning.
Dr. Lowe is particularly dedicated to helping patients manage complex and chronic psychiatric conditions through precise medication management. She focuses on supporting individuals who require careful monitoring, medication adjustments, and coordination with other aspects of care to maintain stability over time. With decades of clinical experience, she brings a calm, methodical approach to helping patients feel more confident and informed about their treatment, especially when symptoms have been difficult to control or have significantly impacted daily life.
Her clinical expertise includes treating ADHD, bipolar disorder, and depression, while also addressing anxiety, sleep disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns as part of comprehensive care. Dr. Lowe works with adults and older adults and has experience serving individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and head injuries. In addition to medication management, she incorporates medical procedure evaluations, mindfulness-based strategies, and parenting skills when appropriate, and offers additional support for a wide range of mental health needs. She also provides care in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Chinese.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Lowe enjoys exercising and operatic singing, pursuits that reflect her appreciation for both physical wellness and creative expression.
