Jared Nemkov, Psychiatrist

Dr. Nemkov offers psychiatric diagnostic assessments, medication management, and psychotherapy. He believes that fostering open communication with patients and establishing a strong therapeutic alliance are of paramount importance in helping individuals achieve their goals. He emphasizes the importance of psychoeducation and close collaboration with patients in order to empower them to make well informed decisions regarding their mental health treatment. Dr. Nemkov completed his undergraduate education at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he majored in psychology. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed both general psychiatry residency training and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.
