Dr. Xiujun Zhao provides comprehensive and compassionate psychiatric care to adolescents and adults throughout Maryland. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Zhao helps patients find stability and balance through evidence-based treatment and personalized care. He offers medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and individual therapy for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. His approach combines medical expertise with a deep respect for each patient’s life experience, supporting recovery and long-term emotional wellness. Dr. Zhao is especially dedicated to helping individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He integrates biological, psychological, and social perspectives to design individualized treatment plans that address the root causes of distress. By creating a supportive and collaborative environment, Dr. Zhao empowers patients to rebuild confidence, improve daily functioning, and enhance their overall quality of life.
