Dr. Michelle Hill received her medical degree from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. She served honorably in the Army for 8 years before working as a civilian in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Hill is board certified in General Psychiatry. She is also a member of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians.

Dr. Hill’s practice is focused on patients 18 years and older, treating ADHD, depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia. In addition to practicing in general Psychiatry, Dr. Hill has specific interests in treating veterans and members of the LGBTQ community.

Dr. Hill believes in a comprehensive approach to mental health, focusing both on the proper application of medication as well as developing coping skills unique to the individual. In these unique and difficult times, she believes it important to focus on what we can control and develop a way forward.

In her spare time, Dr. Hill enjoys travel, movies, and theater, especially going to the Fox and the Muny.

Dr. Michelle Hill is the best Psychiatrist I have found in STL to help treat active, reserve, or retired Police, Fire, & EMS. After 20 years as a Firefighter-Paramedic, Flight Medic FP-C, & Critical Care Medic, Dr. Hill was able to diagnose the problems that come up when you are no longer active duty. Such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and much more. She is always available and truly cares about helping first responders and military personnel. She will help with new treatment options such as Ketamine by getting a referral for you if needed. You are not just a number to her. She will take her time on each appointment to make sure you are getting better. I have been with her for approximately 3 years after going through countless Psychiatrists who had no idea of the type of jobs we have, what we have to deal with on & off duty, and the toll it takes on first responders dealing with life & death, stress from all angles, sleeping problems, etc. She specialized in PTSD for the military at the VA before joining Lifestance. If you feel like there is no where to turn and you are at the end, please call Dr. Hill. I promise she will help you. I was at the worst place possible and she was able to help me. Dr. Hill is truly amazing!

My med doctor is amazing! Unlike the usual hi-bye. She listens to u and really works with u on what would help instead of usual that just throw a “cocktail” of meds at you. M. Hill is a very good psych. Knows her stuff very understanding. Ciao

My life has changed since I met Dr. Michelle Hill. She has guided me through a lot. Anytime I call the office, the staff is more than pleasant. I will never see another psychiatrist other than Dr. Hill!
