Christopher Anderson helps adults and older adults throughout Tennessee manage complex mental health conditions with compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care at LifeStance Health. He provides medication management, substance abuse medication management, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns. Christopher’s approach emphasizes thoughtful listening, clinical precision, and individualized treatment planning designed to help patients regain stability, improve daily functioning, and move toward long-term wellness. Christopher is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from psychiatric hospitalization or who are participating in court-ordered treatment. He understands that these transitions can be emotionally and mentally demanding, and he works closely with patients to create structured, realistic care plans that promote recovery, safety, and continued progress. His goal is to help patients feel supported without judgment while building trust and consistency throughout treatment. His clinical interests include treating depression, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, and alcohol or substance use concerns. He also works with patients navigating ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disturbances, grief, psychosis, and major life transitions, while offering additional support for a broad range of psychiatric needs. Christopher incorporates medication management alongside advanced treatment options such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), helping patients explore solutions when traditional approaches have not provided adequate relief. Christopher has experience working with military veterans and members of the LGBTQ+ community, recognizing the importance of culturally responsive and individualized mental health care. He values creating a therapeutic environment where patients feel respected, informed, and actively involved in decisions about their treatment. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and began practicing psychiatry in 2026. Christopher remains committed to staying informed on evolving psychiatric treatments and evidence-based interventions that improve patient outcomes. Outside of his professional work, Christopher enjoys spending time with family, maintaining physical fitness, and playing golf.
