Dr. Shrestha is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist, proficient in treating clients who are 15 years and older. She holds a very strong belief in healing work with her clients through an integrative wellness approach. She has worked with clients in a variety of settings including Veterans Affairs, Outpatient and Inpatient settings, Correctional facilities, and State hospitals. Dr. Shrestha completed her Post Graduate training in Adult Psychiatry from Texas Tech University and received her Medical school diploma from Kathmandu Medical College. She is currently fully licensed in the state of Tennessee. She believes in the importance of self-care, not only for her clients, but personally as well as a mental health provider. She meditates daily and is willing to incorporate this work with her clients by guiding them in meditation and spiritual practices when necessary. In her free time, she enjoys nature, loves gardening, tree planting, hiking, reading, singing and nurturing animals.

Dr.Shrestha is an amazing psychiatrist who hears and listens to her patients. She genuinely wants to help people work towards achieving their goals of improving their mental health. She is understanding, caring, compassionate, and has a really good vibe. I felt so comfortable discussing my concerns and I definitely never feel judged. I will recommend her to other people when they are looking a psychiatrist!

Easy to get an appt. Plenty of parking. The office space has a calm, inviting atmosphere. Dr Shrestha was very kind, listened to understand, and developed a good game plan to tackle the biggest issues. My biggest complaint was there’s a lot of ambient noise from the HVAC airflow, so it was hard to hear sometimes. Overall, very happy to have found them!

Everyone I’ve come in contact with has been top-notch. This includes phone and office personnel and psychiatrists, with one exception, to therapists! I’m really surprised by how well they’ve been able to “coach” me and “cheer” me along. This happens to be what I needed at this point in my journey, and it changed my life!

As a family, we have had experiences with several psychiatrists dealing with my special-needs siblings. Dr. Shrestha is, by far, the kindest and most professional with caring, reasonable plans of action to stabilize their meds. We have a psychiatrist in the family, so we have a baseline from which we can judge. We’re grateful to her.

Shristi is a very professional and caring person. She has helped me come off some meds I didn't think were possible. She also has great general health knowledge. I'm taking some vitamins now for general health benefits. I recommend her highly.
