Kevin Weisson is a compassionate and knowledgeable prescriber at LifeStance Health who provides care to children, teens, adults, and seniors across Texas. He offers a holistic and patient-centered approach to mental health treatment, combining psychotherapy and medication management tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Whether supporting a child with behavioral concerns or guiding an adult through depression, anxiety, or substance use challenges, Kevin focuses on creating a safe, collaborative environment where healing and growth can take place. Kevin is especially passionate about working with individuals experiencing complex psychiatric and medical concerns, including psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. He has a particular interest in addressing the intersection between physical and mental health, including pain management, sleep disorders, and conditions that impact cognitive or emotional functioning. His work often integrates mindfulness techniques to enhance emotional regulation and promote resilience in clients facing long-term stressors or trauma-related symptoms. He has a strong commitment to serving marginalized and high-needs populations. Kevin has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, and clients who have experienced head injuries. He provides support that honors each person’s identity and lived experience, using an inclusive, trauma-informed approach. Kevin also works closely with first responders and veterans who are navigating the psychological toll of service-related experiences. Outside of his clinical role, Kevin enjoys powerlifting, immersing himself in fantasy video game series like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, and watching horror films—his favorites include Nightmare on Elm Street and Final Destination.
