Matthew Craddock, Psychiatrist
Matthew Craddock helps patients achieve stability, symptom relief, and improved daily functioning through thoughtful, collaborative psychiatric medication management. He serves children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors across Utah through LifeStance Health, offering care that balances clinical precision with genuine attentiveness to each person’s lived experience. Dr. Craddock provides medication management for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression, while also supporting a wide range of additional mental health concerns when clinically appropriate. He works with children and adolescents navigating behavioral and emotional challenges, teens managing mood and attention difficulties, and adults and older adults addressing complex psychiatric and life-transition-related needs. His approach emphasizes careful assessment, ongoing monitoring, and shared decision-making to ensure treatment plans remain effective and aligned with patient goals.
A particular area of passion for Dr. Craddock is working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He focuses on continuity of care during this critical transition, helping patients stabilize medications, reduce the risk of rehospitalization, and regain confidence as they return to daily routines. He collaborates closely with patients and their broader care teams to support recovery, reinforce coping strategies, and promote long-term mental health stability. Dr. Craddock integrates evidence-informed principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness to complement medication management and support whole-person care. He works with select populations beyond men and women, including LGBTQ+ individuals, military members and veterans, and individuals on the autism spectrum, and offers additional areas of support as needed. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Craddock enjoys spending time outdoors snowboarding, hiking, and paddleboarding, as well as practicing meditation and engaging in creative projects. He values community connection through art, music, and service, and loves adventuring with his dog, Juno.
