Dr. Milt Anderson, Psychiatrist
Dr. Milt Anderson is a Psychiatrist in Virginia who has been practicing since 1992. He earned his M.D. at Washington University School of Medicine, completed his Internship and General Psychiatry Residency and his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Walter Reed Medical Center. Dr. Anderson is usually quickly able to forge a working alliance with clients and move fairly quickly from “intake mode” to “problem solving mode,” even as the extended evaluation of a complex problem progresses. He has worked in many different settings including the United States military (as an Army Medical Officer), in schools, and in large medical systems. Dr. Anderson collaborates well with psychologists, non-physician therapists, and non-psychiatric physicians. Outside of work, Dr. Anderson enjoys hiking, gardening, and bicycling.
