Dr. Ryan Wong helps children, teens, adults, and families across California strengthen their mental health and build more fulfilling lives. He provides compassionate care for those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and grief, as well as support during life transitions including midlife changes, later-life adjustment, and reproductive or postpartum concerns. Through a thoughtful and collaborative approach, he works with clients to reduce distress, improve relationships, and foster long-term resilience.

Dr. Wong is especially passionate about supporting individuals and families navigating ADHD, childhood behavior issues, and school avoidance. He understands the unique challenges these concerns can create for both children and caregivers, and he strives to help families improve communication, strengthen problem-solving skills, and establish effective coping strategies. His work also extends to supporting clients with substance use difficulties, psychosis or schizophrenia, and those experiencing the emotional impact of medical conditions or chronic pain.

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family-based interventions, and mindfulness practices, Dr. Wong tailors each treatment plan to meet the specific needs of his clients. He also offers psychological testing to provide deeper insight into cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning, which helps guide effective treatment planning. In his practice, he works with a wide range of populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, those on the autism spectrum, first responders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Wong enjoys reading science fiction, playing strategy-based video games, and spending meaningful time with his family. These personal passions help him stay curious, balanced, and grounded in his work with clients.
