Britni Dawson-Giles, Psychologist
Britni Dawson-Giles helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. Through LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to patients throughout Colorado. Britni works collaboratively with individuals and families facing concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and trauma, creating personalized treatment plans that support meaningful and lasting growth. One of Britni’s greatest professional passions is helping young people and families affected by ADHD, childhood behavioral concerns, and trauma-related challenges. She understands how these experiences can impact academic success, relationships, self-esteem, and daily functioning. Using a strengths-based approach, she helps patients develop practical skills, improve emotional regulation, and build healthy coping strategies that foster long-term success both at home and in school. Britni integrates proven therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while tailoring treatment to each patient’s unique needs and goals. In addition to individual therapy, she provides psychological testing and comprehensive evaluations to support diagnostic clarity and treatment planning. She also has experience serving individuals from LGBTQ+ communities, those with autism spectrum disorders, and children and families involved in adoption or foster care, along with additional populations. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2018, Britni has remained committed to helping patients overcome obstacles and discover their strengths. Her approach combines clinical expertise with warmth, curiosity, and genuine respect for each person’s lived experience. She believes that meaningful change happens when patients feel understood, empowered, and supported throughout their mental health journey. Outside of work, Britni enjoys spending time outdoors with her children. She can often be found hiking, paddle boarding, camping, snowboarding, or enjoying time at the lake. She also has a passion for martial arts, painting, travel, and lifelong learning. These interests reflect the values she brings to her practice, including perseverance, creativity, adaptability, and a belief that personal growth is an ongoing process. As a psychologist with LifeStance Health, Britni Dawson-Giles is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health therapy, psychological testing, and support for ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and related concerns for children, teens, and young adults throughout Colorado.
