Katrina Daniels, Psychologist
Dr. Katrina Daniels helps patients strengthen coping skills, process complex emotions, and move toward meaningful life changes through evidence-based therapy at LifeStance Health, serving adults and seniors throughout Maryland. They provide both individual therapy and group therapy, supporting young adults, adults, and older adults navigating life transitions and mental health challenges. Their clinical work frequently focuses on ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting concerns such as mood disorders, life transitions, and additional behavioral health needs. Dr. Daniels is especially passionate about working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital and are adjusting back to daily routines. They focus on helping patients maintain stability, strengthen relapse-prevention strategies, and build confidence in managing symptoms outside of higher levels of care. Their approach emphasizes continuity of care, emotional safety, and practical skill-building to support long-term recovery and independence. Their therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also offering additional evidence-based interventions. Dr. Daniels has experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and military or veteran populations, while also serving additional diverse communities. They focus on collaborative, identity-affirming care that respects each patient’s lived experiences and personal goals. Outside of clinical work, Dr. Daniels enjoys playing and following women’s soccer, as well as hiking, gaming, reading, and attending live theater and comedy shows. These interests help them stay energized, creative, and connected to the communities they serve.
